Sterling McCall Toyota is happy to help you custom order a Toyota.
Previously, if a car buyer was considering a custom order purchase, it generally meant that it was a rare (and expensive) car or they wanted something very specific. Either way, the car buyers were happy to pay for the benefit of getting something unique, despite knowing that it would take additional time to complete the special order. The status symbol of purchasing that unique vehicle outweighed the wait time rather than getting a car off the lot. Today the car-buying landscape has greatly shifted. No longer are there rows of new vehicles to choose from, so when you desire something unique, then custom ordering from the manufacturer is now your best option. If you need a vehicle and can’t wait for a special order, then buying from the vehicles available on the lot now is likely your best choice.
The fun part of custom ordering is that you are able to choose the exact tech you want. You can pick a big navigation screen, leather seats, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can be your favorite color: red! In the past, you probably would have needed to compromise depending on vehicles that were available. You may be able to get all of the tech you wanted, but it was FWD instead of All-Wheel Drive. Or you could get AWD, but it had cloth seats, not leather. When you custom order, you can get what you want.
On the other hand, by custom ordering your brand-new vehicle from the factory, you don’t pay for the upgrade you don’t need. Perhaps you needed AWD and NAV but didn’t care about the leather seats or color. While you may not be able to individually choose each option by itself, yet by custom ordering your brand-new vehicle, you can reduce the undesirable upgrades. We do suggest that you review the option packages, as they often offer popular upgrades together at a lower price.
If you are ordering your new vehicle, then you probably know what you want. You won’t need to spend your day comparing features, test-driving different models, etc. It’s simple, schedule some time with one of our sales representatives, and they can help you navigate the custom order guide and help you choose exactly what you want. When the delivery day gets here, you can stop by, sign a few documents and leave to enjoy your new ride. Custom ordering has shifted the paradigm in the car-buying experience.
